Community

The Dangkor landfill is an active waste disposal site in Phnom Penh. Currently, nearly 1,000 residents, making up approximately 200 families, live directly within this environment. The site is still in regular use by the city, and the number of people moving into the area continues to grow. Families living here face daily challenges regarding health, housing, and economic stability. Green Bethel Community operates locally to provide practical support and sustainable alternatives for these residents.
